Se leggevi meglio la mail avresti visto che il trucco è stato testato per windows 98 e non 2000. Molte chiavi sono differenti.

Ti cito alcuni doc (si dice della microsoft ma ho dubbi) che ho trovato in giro.

On a shared NT machine, this is a real pain, if different users want to use different dial-up accounts. With this simple registry change, you can prevent NT from remembering the dial-up passwords.
